Hero Vida VX2 Go: Hero MotoCorp, under its sub-brand Vida, has launched a new variant of the Vida VX2 electric scooter in India, the Go 3.4kWh. Unveiled by Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, the new electric scooter features removable dual batteries, each with a 3.4kWh capacity. The scooter is priced at Rs 1.02 lakh (excluding subsidies and other benefits, ex-showroom), while the brand's Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option starts at Rs 60,000, with a pay-per-kilometre cost of Rs 0.90. Vida's BaaS model enables customers to subscribe to the battery rather than making an outright purchase.

Hero Vida VX2 Go 3.4kWh: Range

The Vida VX2 Go 3.4kWh's removable battery system claims a real-world range of 100km on a single charge. The battery is tied to a 6kW electric motor, propelling the scooter to achieve a top speed of 70km/h. Depending on their requirements, riders can toggle between two ride modes (Eco and Ride). 

Hero Vida VX2 Go 3.4kWh: Practicality-focused Features 

With a focus on practicality, the Hero Vida VX2 Go 3.4kWh scooter features a flat floorboard, a large seat, 27.2-litre under-seat storage space, and a suspension setup tuned for Indian roads. Vida says that the scooter is designed for those seeking enhanced range and fuel efficiency, while offering practicality-focused features.

Hero Vida VX2 Go 3.4kWh: Availability

Promoted as the Evooter under the tagline 'Ghar Ghar Evooter', the Vida VX2 Go 3.4kWh will be available at authorised Vida dealerships this month. With the new launch, the VX2 lineup now consists of the VX2 Go 2.2kWh, VX2 Go 3.4kWh, and the VX2 Plus.
