Hero Xtreme 125R Dual Channel ABS: Hero MotoCorp has launched a new top-spec variant of its sporty 125cc bike, the Xtreme 125R, in India. Priced at Rs 1.05 lakh (ex-showroom), the new variant adds more safety with dual-channel ABS and ride-by-wire. The ride-by-wire throttle enables cruise control and three ride modes, while offering smoother throttle action, according to Hero. The bike is also equipped with a coloured LCD instrument cluster.
Hero Xtreme 125R Gets 3 New Colours
Hero has kept the styling unchanged, but has added three new colours to the palette: Black Pearl Red, Black Matt Shadow Grey, and Black Leaf Green. Everything else remains the same. The bike is available with the same 124.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, producing 11bhp at 8,250rpm and 10.5Nm at 6,500rpm. The engine is similar to the one found on the Glamour X 125, albeit with a different state-of-tune.
Speaking of, the Glamour X 125 received cruise control in August 2025 when it was launched in August 2025. After the Xtreme 125R, the cruise control feature will trickle down to the upcoming Xtreme 160R Combat Edition and probably the Xtreme 250R.
Hero Xtreme 125R: Price
The range starts at Rs 89,000 for the entry-level variant with IBS (Integrated Braking System), while both single-seat and split-seat configurations of the single-channel ABS variant are priced at a uniform Rs 92,500. The top-spec dual-channel ABS variant is priced at Rs 1.05 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom. The model rivals the Honda CB125 Hornet, TVS Raider 125, and the Bajaj Pulsar NS125.
