Similar to the Xtreme 250R, the Combat Edition version of the Xtreme 160R 4V features an LED projector headlamp. It also gets a new Matte Shadow Grey colour option, a combination of a grey-and-black paint scheme with contrasting neon highlights. Other colour options are Kevlar Brown, Matt Slate Black, and Neon Shooting Star.

That said, the most significant change is the addition of ride-by-wire tech, which enables cruise control and three ride modes (Rain, Road and Sport). Another update comes in the form of a colour LCD instrument cluster borrowed from the Glamour X 125, in addition to new switchgear.
