The brand is planning to launch an electric iteration of the Royal Enfield Himalayan in the country, and the test mule of the Royal Enfield Electric Himalayan has been spotted a few times recently. The Royal Enfield Electric Himalayan was exclusively spied testing in Spiti by the Jagran Hitech team, and it has been again spied testing, alongside the ICE Himalayan. Let’s take a look at the design, features, and powertrain of the upcoming Royal Enfield Electric Himalayan.

The turn signals of the bike are integrated inside the side fairing, and it gets the Royal Enfield Badging along with a silver-colored metal outlining. The bike also gets a silver-colored motor casing, along with a single-piece seat finished in a white and black paint scheme with the Royal Enfield written on it.

Royal Enfield Electric Himalayan: Expected Range & India Launch
The brand has not yet confirmed any details regarding the range or powertrain of the electric Royal Enfield Himalayan. However, an adventure bike with an electric system would require a larger battery, and therefore, we expect the electric Royal Enfield Himalayan to come equipped with a battery pack capacity ranging between 7kWh to 10kWh. The brand is expected to launch its electric bikes from 2026 onwards, and the Flying Flea bikes will be launched first. Therefore electric Royal Enfield Himalayan is expected to be launched sometime at the end of next year.

The electric Royal Enfield Himalayan also features a screen-based instrument cluster, which is placed too high near the windscreen. The rear end of the motorcycle features a double-sided swingarm, and it also features a belt-drive system. While the front wheel gets a single-petal disc for braking, the rear wheel of the bike gets a dual-disc braking setup. The Tank of the bike gets a padded covering. The prototype looks more like a development platform, rather than a near-production model.
