Himachal Pradesh Police Car: The Himachal Pradesh (HP) Police now has a customised electric vehicle as part of its official fleet. Tata Motors, one of the country's leading car manufacturers, has specially modified its all-electric Curvv coupe-SUV for the needs of the HP Police. In a video shared by @iNikhilsaini on X (formerly Twitter), Tata's custom-designed Curvv EV parked outside a Tata showroom is finished in a Pristine White shade and features design tweaks that make it stand apart from the regular Curvv EV.
Himachal Police's Customised Tata Curvv EV: Visual Changes
Over the regular version, the customised Tata Curvv EV features a blue stripe running the length of the vehicle, accompanied by a 'Police' decal and a State emblem. Additionally, the EV sports a 'Dial 112' sticker – a reference to the pan-India single emergency number Himachal Pradesh launched in 2018. The rear side of the EV is also customised with a 'Police' sticker in a red shade. In addition to a roof-mounted 360-degree camera, the EV is also equipped with a siren and a loudspeaker for emergencies.

The custom-designed Tata Curvv EV will serve as a road safety enforcement vehicle, patrolling the roads to inspect vehicles and check on unsafe driving behaviours. Apart from that, the EV looks stock. While yet to be confirmed, the EV seen in India could be either a base or a mid-spec variant.
