Holi Car Care Tips: Holi is a colourful and vibrant festival that will be celebrated in India on March 25, 2024. People celebrate holi with colours, water balloons while enjoying snacks and alcohol. As we are too busy enjoying ourselves, we often forget to take care of our belongings such as electronic devices, spectacles and even our vehicles. After Holi celebrations, many car owners have to deal with stubborn colour stains on their vehicles. These stains not only damage the car's exterior paint but also leave the interior dirty and stained. However, taking a few precautions before Holi can help solve these challenges and protect your vehicle from colour stains.

Park Your Car

During the festival, when enthusiasm for colour games is high, it's advisable to avoid taking your car out. If travel is necessary, opt for early outings or utilise public transportation as a precautionary measure to protect your car during Holi.

Use A Cab

If you really have to go out on Holi, consider hiring a cab instead of using your own vehicle. This eliminates the risk of staining your car and saves you from the expenses of colour removal and an expensive car wash later on.

Keep It Covered

If you have a covered garage, ensure to park your car inside and securely lock the garage ahead of the Holi celebrations. Whether your vehicle is parked in public or private parking, using a waterproof cover that is securely attached to the car is always a wise precaution.

Apply Teflon Or Wax

Regularly applying wax or polish not only maintains your car's exterior in excellent condition but also provides an additional layer of protection. This can also add onto your comprehensive car insurance by safeguarding against potential damage from external elements.

Make Sure Your Car Windows Are Closed

In addition to safeguarding the exterior of your vehicle with a cover, it's essential not to overlook the protection of your car's interiors. Ensure that all windows and doors are properly closed, leaving no gaps that could allow colour to get into the car's interior.
