Honda Activa After GST Cut: For more consumers clamouring for affordable vehicles, the significant changes to the Goods and Services Tax (GST) regime, approved by the GST Council, have spurred optimism. Most manufacturers, following the approval of the two-tier tax structure, have announced price drops across their respective model line-ups. Everywhere you look, prices are coming down, just in time ahead of the festive season. 

Honda 2W (Under 350cc) Prices Drop

This development also brings relief for buyers looking to buy Honda two-wheelers, ranging from the Activa 110 scooter to the CB350 motorcycle. In a recent development, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has announced price reductions across its extensive range of scooters and motorcycles, by up to Rs 18,887.  

Honda Activa To Honda CB350: GST Price Benefits

Depending on the model and variant, Honda will pass on the full GST benefits to its customers, with effect from September 22, which also marks the first day of Navratri. For those unaware, sub-350cc two-wheelers will be taxed at 18 per cent, under the new GST regime. The table below offers a close look at model-wise GST benefits:

Honda 2W (Above 350cc) Prices Not Out Yet

However, Honda's premium big bikes will attract a flat 40 per cent GST, since these are bikes with engines above 350cc. Price hikes on the big bikes are still awaited, as the brand is evaluating the impact of the revised GST rate on these models.
