Honda Amaze BNCAP Crash Test: In the latest round of crash tests, Bharat NCAP (New Car Assessment Program) has awarded the third-generation Honda Amaze sedan a 5-star safety rating. The new Honda Amaze earned five stars in Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) and four stars in Child Occupant Protection (COP). With this achievement, the Honda Amaze is now one of the safest sedans in the country, although its rival, the Maruti Suzuki Dzire (tested in June 2025) holds a 5-star rating in COP, with 41.57 points out of 49.
Honda Amaze: Adult Occupant Protection Test Results
The new-generation Honda Amaze secured an impressive 28.33 out of 32 points in adult occupant safety. In the frontal offset deformable barrier test, the sedan got 14.33 out of 16 points, providing adequate to good levels of protection to the driver, and good protection to the co-driver.
In the side movable deformable barrier test, the Amaze sedan scored 14 out of 16 points, offering marginal chest protection to the driver. The Amaze also demonstrated its safety prowess by successfully passing the side pole impact test, ensuring occupants are well-protected in the event of a collision.

Honda Amaze: Child Occupant Protection Test Results
The Honda Amaze secured 40.81/49 points for child occupant safety. It excelled in the dynamic test, scoring 23.81/24, with a minor 0.19-point deduction due to slight injuries to the 18-month-old child dummy. Meanwhile, the sedan received full marks for protecting the 3-year-old dummy. It also achieved a perfect 12/12 in child restraint installation, highlighting the ease of use. However, a score of 5/13 in vehicle assessment suggests scope for improvement.
Honda Amaze: Onboard Safety Features
The 5-star BNCAP safety rating applies to the following variants of the Honda Amaze: V CVT, VX CVT, and ZX MT. As standard, the Amaze features six airbags, ESC, ABS, seatbelt reminders, rear parking sensors, and ISOFIX child seat mounts. The sedan also offers a blind spot monitor, a rear camera, and an ADAS suite.
