Honda Stylo 160: Honda has recently patented the design of the Stylo 160 scooter in India, sparking speculation about a potential launch. The Honda Stylo 160 is currently available in Indonesia and could soon make its way to the Indian market, competing with the Yamaha Aerox 155 and the upcoming Hero Xoom 160. This move follows Honda's recent patenting of four high-capacity motorcycles, indicating a possible expansion of their product lineup in India.

Honda Stylo 160 - Design and Features 

The Honda Stylo 160 is characterised by its conservative yet stylish design, aimed at appealing to riders across different age groups. Its body features curvy, flowing lines, an oval-shaped headlamp, a spacious single-piece seat and a sturdy grab rail. The Stylo 160 is equipped with several modern features, including full LED lighting, a digital console, a keyless start system, and a USB charger.

Honda Stylo 160 - Engine Specs and Performance

In terms of engine specs, the Honda Stylo 160 is powered by a 156.9cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces a power output of approximately 16 bhp and 15 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a CVT system, ensuring a smooth and efficient ride. The scooter rides on 12-inch alloy wheels, supported by telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. The higher-spec variant comes with a single disc brake at both ends, complemented by single-channel ABS, while a more affordable variant features CBS. The Stylo 160 has a kerb weight of 118 kg.

Honda's potential introduction of the Stylo 160 in India marks a significant step into the higher-capacity scooter segment, which has been dominated by models like the Activa. The Activa has long been a leader in the market, but the addition of a premium, stylish option like the Stylo 160 could attract a new segment of customers.
