In one of the most rare sights in world politics, Chinese President Xi Jinping on Wednesday flew down to the US to meet President Joe Biden in San Fransisco on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit, scheduled for later this week. Though political pundits focussed on what Xi and Biden discussed during the meeting, the focal point for automobile enthusiasts across the globe was the Chinese President's official car, the Hongqi N701.
Also known as the Red Flag, the Hongqi N701, also received praise from Joe Biden, who called it a "beautiful vehicle". "It’s like the Cadillac we have here," Biden said, after a quick glance at the car’s interiors. Transported all the way through the ocean, the Red Flag, just like Biden's The Beast, is one of the most powerful cars, responsible for the transport of one of the world's most powerful men, Xi Jinping.
