Hyundai Creta EV Spied: South Korean automaker Hyundai recently launched two new offerings in the Indian market - the Creta SUV facelift and the Creta N Line SUV. It is now being speculated that Hyundai is gearing up to launch the Hyundai Creta EV for the Indian market. These speculations are being fueled as the upcoming Creta EV has been spotted in South Korea ahead of its official launch. A heavily camouflaged test mule of the Hyundai Creta EV has been potted, revealing key details about the upcoming electric SUV.

Hyundai Creta EV - Design 

The spy shots of the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV reveals its design and the electric SUV appears to share similarities with its ICE counterpart. It features styling elements such as LED projector headlamps and an LED daytime running light (DRL) that extends across the entire width of the front profile. However, as an electric vehicle, it will sport a closed panel in place of the conventional radiator grille seen on the newly launched Creta facelift. Notably, the spy shot also showcases the electric Creta's 17-inch aero-designed alloy wheels, a distinct feature tailored specifically for the EV and setting it apart from its ICE counterpart. The Hyundai Creta EV is anticipated to feature several distinguishing design elements, including a repositioned brand logo and a front-fender mounted charging port. Additionally, the SUV is likely to showcase a smoothed bumper with a modified radiator grille. It's expected that design adjustments will also be evident on the side and rear profiles of the electric SUV.

Hyundai Creta EV - Features 

In terms of features, the Hyundai Creta EV will include a bigger touchscreen infotainment system featuring an EV-specific user interface, along with an all-digital instrument cluster. The centre console is expected to undergo a revamp as well. Moreover, the vehicle is anticipated to include a 360-degree surround camera system and a Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite. Notably, the front camera is visibly positioned at the centre of the nose section on the front profile of the vehicle.

Hyundai Creta EV - Powertrain 

Talking about the powertrain of the Hyundai Creta EV, the manufacturer has not revealed any specific information about its details. However, it is anticipated that it will feature a 55-60 kWh battery pack that will enable the EV to offer a range of approximately 450 kilometres on a single charge.
