Maruti Suzuki Victoris: Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest carmaker, is all set to launch its new SUV today. Earlier, it was being asserted that the upcoming Maruti Suzuki SUV would be called the Escudo; however, it was discovered later that it will be named Maruti Suzuki Victoris. The SUV has been spotted testing several times, and the brand has also launched a teaser showing the taillight of the SUV. Let’s take a look at what can be expected from the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Escudo or Maruti Suzuki Victoris, in terms of features, design, and engine.
Maruti Suzuki Victoris: Features
The brand is expected to equip the Victoris with a range of advanced technological features. The SUV is expected to come equipped with a 9-inch touchscreen with wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Victoris by Maruti Suzuki is also expected to feature a fully automatic climate control system, Ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, and new materials for the upholstery.
Maruti Suzuki Victoris: Design
The recently shared teaser by Maruti Suzuki gave us a sneak peek of what’s coming from the brand. The taillight section of the upcoming SUV was showcased in the teaser. It is anticipated that the SUV will feature a three-dimensional LED taillight setup. The SUV is also expected to borrow the lighting elements from the brand’s first-ever electric SUV, the e-Vitara. The Maruti Suzuki Victoris is also expected to feature a new set of alloy wheels.

Maruti Suzuki Victoris: Powertrain
The Maruti Suzuki Victoris is being launched to fill the key gap between the brand’s two popular SUVs: the Brezza and the Grand Vitara. The Victoris is anticipated to be based on the brand’s C-platform, shared by its bigger sibling, the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. Thus, the Victoris is expected to come equipped with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, which will later be equipped with a CNG option. The Engine is capable of generating 103 hp and 138 Nm of torque.
