Hyundai Inster EV Unveiled Globally: Hyundai has introduced its latest all-electric SUV, the Inster EV. Unlike a completely new design, the Hyundai Inster EV is built on the framework of its internal combustion engine (ICE) counterpart, the Casper. The Inster EV is set to be the brand's smallest and most budget-friendly electric vehicle worldwide.

Hyundai Inster EV - Exterior Colour
The Hyundai Inster EV will be available in nine exterior colours - Atlas White, Tomboy Khaki, Bijarim Khaki Matte, Unbleached Ivory, Sienna Orange Metallic, Aero Silver Matte, Dusk Blue Matte, Abyss Black Pearl and Buttercream Yellow Pearl.
Hyundai Inster EV - Design
In terms of design, the Hyundai Inster EV features circular LED daytime running lights (DRLs) around the headlamp cluster. A large black pill-like design houses the front camera, headlamps, advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) sensor and charging port. There are also pixel-themed turn indicators incorporated in a black bar that covers the vehicle's width. From the side, the Inster EV boasts chunky wheel arches with four-spoke wheels up to 17 inches. Additional features include pillar-mounted rear door handles, functional roof rails and large windows. At the rear, the Inster EV sports pixel-themed light bars extending to the Hyundai logo in the centre. It also has circular taillamps and parking lights.
Hyundai Inster EV - Interior & Features
Moving inside the Inster EV, it features a simple yet modern dashboard and cabin design. It comes equipped with a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, wireless charging and a multi-functional steering wheel with a drive mode selector. Additional features include ventilated front seats, a 360-degree surround camera, ambient lighting, a blind spot monitor, a sunroof and an ADAS suite.

Hyundai Inster EV - Battery & Range
Talking about the battery in Hyundai Inster EV, it will offer two battery options - a 42kWh unit and a 49kWh unit for the long-range version. Both versions will have a single motor, producing 95 bhp for the standard model and 113 bhp for the long-range model, with 147 Nm of torque. The Inster EV is expected to deliver a maximum range of up to 355 km on a single charge. It can charge from 10 to 80 per cent in under 30 minutes using a DC fast charger.
