The Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association is hosting the 2023 Japan Mobility Show in Tokyo. Japan Mobility Show formerly known as the Tokyo Motor Show will be showcasing a range of latest vehicles and concepts by top automobile manufacturers in the world. The Japan Mobility Show is scheduled to happen from October 25 to November 5. Here’s a list of vehicles that the Japan Mobility Show will be showcasing.
Maruti Suzuki eVX Concept
Maruti Suzuki displayed the eVX concept for the first time in India in the Auto Expo 2023. At the Auto Expo 2023, Maruti Suzuki only revealed the exterior design of the eVX concept and will now reveal the interior details of the car at the Japan Mobility Show. The Maruti Suzuki eVX is expected to launch in India by 2025.
Toyota Land Cruiser SE
Toyota’s popular SUV model, Land Cruiser, is slated to get an electric counterpart and its concept will be displayed at the Japan Mobility Show. Its electric counterpart will be known as the Land Cruiser se. The Land Cruiser se will share its underpinnings with Toyota FT-Se sportscar and the FT-3E born EV SUV. Apart from this model, Toyota will be displaying other upcoming electric vehicle models and concepts at the show.
Lexus EV
Lexus recently teased an EV concept that is expected to officially be launched by 2026. Lexus will be showcasing the EV concept at the Japan Mobility Show. Post its launch, the EV concept will be the brand’s flagship offering in its electric vehicle line-up and Lexus claims that it will offer a driving range of 800 km.
New Maruti Suzuki Swift
Maruti Suzuki recently shared teaser images of the new-gen Swift and will officially be launching the popular hatchback at the Japan Mobility Show. The teaser images shared by the Japanese manufacturer revealed design and interior upgrades in the new-gen Maruti Suzuki Swift. It is expected that the new-gen Swift will be launched in India next year.
CBG-Powered Maruti Suzuki WagonR
The Japanese automobile giant will be showcasing another model, the Compressed Biomethane Gas powered WagonR at the Japan Mobility Show. The CBG-powered WagonR is the made-in-India model of the WagonR and not the one sold in Japan. CBG is produced by decomposing organic waste like agricultural remains, cow dung, sewage and municipal waste. The biogas is highly refined after the decomposition process to make its composition similar to CNG.
