Maruti Suzuki, a subsidiary of Suzuki corporation has displayed a number of vehicles at the ongoing Japan Mobility Show happening in Tokyo. The audience has gotten the first glimpse of models like the CBG-Powered WagonR, New-Gen Swift and the Maruti Suzuki eVX concept. Maruti Suzuki displayed the eVX concept for the first time in India at the Auto Expo 2023 where only the exterior of the car was revealed. Right before the Japan Mobility Show, Maruti Suzuki revealed interior details of the eVX concept and is now showcasing the entire vehicle while also providing additional information about the concept like its battery and range.

Maruti Suzuki eVX
Maruti Suzuki eVX will be the first electric car manufactured by the brand and it is expected that the eVX will be seen on Indian roads by 2025. The prototype displayed at the Japan Mobility Show is different from the one showcased at the Auto Expo 2023 as it has been updated cosmetically. In terms of cosmetic changes, it gets new redesigned alloy wheels, LED headlights, DRLs and connected tail lights. The eVX concept currently measures at 4,300 mm long, 1,800 mm wide and 1,600 mm tall. Maruti Suzuki is promising that the eVX production ready model will have a claimed range of 500 km after a single charge.
Maruti Suzuki eVX - Features
As the interior of the eVX concept has been revealed for the first time, it offers a glimpse into the futuristic interiors of the car. The car gets a sleek dashboard with free-standing two digital screens that make up the infotainment system and the digital instrument cluster of the car. Additionally, the car gets a yoke-shaped two-spoke steering wheel and touch based controls mounted on the steering wheel. There are touch-controlled buttons on the dashboard behind the steering wheel for operating functions like climate control, menu control and others. The gear selector is in the form of a rotary knob, placed in the centre console. Vertically placed AC vents, door handles with ambient lighting features and touch-based controls are some of the additional features present inside the eVX concept.
