Jeep Compass Track Edition Is Limited-Run Model With More Upmarket Upgrades; Priced From Rs 26.78 Lakh

Jeep Compass Track Edition: Jeep India has launched the limited-edition version of the premium Compass SUV, dubbed the Track Edition. Jeep offers the Compass Track Edition in 2WD (two-wheel drive) and 4WD (four-wheel drive) powertrains, with prices starting from Rs 26.78 lakh for the entry-level Compass Track MT variant and going up to Rs 30.58 lakh for the top-end Track 4WD AT variant. The Compass Track 2WD AT carries a price tag of Rs 28.64 lakh. The prices are ex-showroom. Bookings for the limited-run Track Edition are open at all Jeep dealerships across India.

Jeep Compass Track Edition: Engine, Output

The Jeep Compass Track Edition continues with a 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine, delivering 170bhp and 350Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic gearbox, with both 2WD and 4WD drivetrains on offer. The segment-first 9-speed AT ensures seamless gear shifts, class-leading fuel economy, and robust performance, according to Jeep.

Jeep Compass Track Edition: Interior, Features

On the inside, the Compass Track Edition features new Tupelo leatherette seats, Dark Espresso Smoke Chrome finishes, Spruce Beige contrast stitching, Tupelo vinyl inserts with embossed Jeep branding, and 'Track Edition' floor mats. A Cortina leather-wrapped steering wheel and Piano Black inserts also form part of the package. 

Infotainment features include a 10.1-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, while convenience features are 8-way electronically adjustable ventilated leather seats (with a memory function), a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, and an integrated voice command system. 

Jeep Compass Track Edition: Safety Equipment

Safety-wise, the Track Edition prioritises safety with electronic stability control, four-channel ABS (with EBD), advanced brake assist, hill start assist, rain brake alert, all-speed traction control, and rear-seat reminder alert, among other features.

Jeep Compass Track Edition: Design

Visually, the Compass Track Edition stands apart with its signature hood decal, Piano Black detailing across the grille, badges, and mouldings, and a Track Edition insignia. The 18-inch diamond-cut Tech Grey alloy wheels are on offer as well, with contrasting Spruce Beige accents.
