Kia Carens Clavis EV Gets New High-End Variant And 6-Seater Options: Price, Features, Engine And More

Kia Carens Clavis Variants: Kia India has expanded the Carens Clavis EV line-up with the addition of a new variant, dubbed the HTX (O), bringing the total number of variants to 8. Priced at Rs 19.27 lakh (ex-showroom), the new HTX (O) is offered in both 6 and 7-seat configurations. Alongside, Kia has also introduced a 6-seat configuration across the HTK+ and the HTK+(O).

Positioned above the HTX variant, the HTX (O) is equipped with a premium surround system (from Bose) with 8 speakers, as well as drive mode select (Eco, Normal, Sport), smart key remote engine start, and electric parking brake (with auto hold). The latter two are available only with the dual-clutch automatic version.  

Speaking of, the new variant is exclusively available with a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine paired with a 7-speed DCT. The engine is tuned to churn out 160bhp and 253Nm of peak torque.

Kia Carens Clavis Select Variants Get 6-Seater Option

Kia has also added a 6-seater option to its mid-spec HTK+ and HTK+(O) variants, enhancing the EV's appeal across a wider swath of buyers. The former is offered with both petrol-DCT and diesel-AT powertrains, while the latter only gets a petrol-DCT setup. Take a look at the prices of the 6-seat versions:

All prices are ex-showroom. With the launch of the new variant, the Kia Carens Clavis is now available in HTE, HTE(O), HTK, HTK+, HTK+(O), HTX, HTX+, and HTX (O) variants. Starting October 13, the new HTX (O) variant, along with 6-seater versions, will be available at Kia dealerships across India.
