Kia Carens Clavis Launched In India: Variant Wise Pricing And Features Explained

Kia Carens Clavis Variants: Kia Carens Clavis official pricing has been revealed by the brand. While the base HTE trim of the premium 3-row MPV is priced at Rs 11.49 Lakhs (Ex-showroom), the top-spec HTX+ trim variant is priced at Rs 21.49 Lakhs (Ex-showroom). The Carens Clavis features a bigger 26.62-inch dual panoramic display, boss mode, ambient lighting, an air-purifier, and ventilated seats with a 4-way powered driver’s seat. Kia Carens Clavis Variants Explained

The newly launched Kia Carens Clavis will be offered in a total of 7 variants: HTE, HTE (O), HTK, HTK+, HTK+(O), HTX and HTX+. The premium iteration of the regular Carens is available with 3 powertrains and 4 transmission options. The powertrain and transmission options are as follows:

1.Smartstream G1.5 GDi NA (Naturally Aspirated) Petrol Engine/6-speed Manual Transmission

2.Smartstream G1.5 T-GDi Turbo-Petrol Engine/6-speed Manual/Automatic/iMT Transmission and 7-Speed DCT

3.1.5-litre CRDi VGT Diesel Engine/6-Speed Manual And Automatic Transmission

Kia Carens Clavis HTE Variant: Price And Features

The HTE trim is available with a Smartstream G1.5 NA (naturally aspirated) petrol engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, along with a 1.5-litre CRDi VGT diesel engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission on offer. While the petrol mill generates 113 hp and 143 Nm of torque, the diesel mill generates the same amount of power with an additional 250 Nm of torque.

The petrol base model of the 3-row premium MPV by Kia is priced at Rs 11.49 lakhs (Ex-showroom), whereas the diesel base trim is priced at Rs 13.49 Lakhs (Ex-showroom). The HTE variant of the premium 7-seater MPV comes equipped with the following key features. 

Kia Carens Clavis HTE(O) Variant: Price And Features

The Kia Caren Clavis HTE(O) trim is available with a total of 3 powertrains on offer: Smartstream G1.5 NA petrol engine, Smartstream G1.5 T-GDi Petrol (Turbo-petrol), and 1.5-litre CRDi VGT diesel engine. All of these variants are paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. While the NA petrol model is priced at Rs 12.49 lakhs (Ex-showroom), the models with the turbo petrol and diesel engine cost Rs 13.39 lakhs (Ex-showroom) and Rs 14.54 lakhs (Ex-showroom), respectively. The HTE(O) trim of the Kia Carens Clavis comes equipped wth these features in addition to the HTE model:

Kia Carens Clavis HTK Variant: Price And Features

The HTK trim of the Kia Carens Clavis gets the same powertrain options on offer as the HTE(O) trim. While the HTK petrol model is priced at Rs 13.49 lakhs (Ex-showroom), the turbo-petrol and diesel models cost Rs 14.39 Lakhs (Ex-showroom) and Rs 15.51 Lakhs (Ex-showroom), respectively. The HTK+ Variant of the Kia Carens Clavis is available with 2 powertrain and transmission options: Smartstream G1.5 T-GDi (Turbo-petrol) engine with 6-speed manual transmission/ 7-speed DCT, and the 1.5-litre CRDi VGT diesel engine with 6-speed manual/AMT transmission. The Petrol HTK+ model with 6-speed manual transmission and 7-speed DCT costs Rs 15.39 lakhs (Ex-showroom) and Rs 16.89 lakhs (Ex-showroom), respectively. The diesel model with 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed AMT is priced at Rs 16.49 lakhs (Ex-showroom) and 17.99 lakhs (Ex-showroom), respectively. The HTK+ trim is the only trim available with the AMT diesel option, and it gets the following features in addition the the HTK variant.

Kia Carens Clavis HTK+(O) Variant: Price And Features

The HTK+(O) trim of the Kia Carens Clavis is available with the turbo-petrol engine paired with either a 6-speed Manual/7-DCT or a 1.5-litre diesel engine paired with a 6-speed Manual transmission. While the HTK+(O) turbo-petrol with a 6-speed manual transmission is priced at Rs 16.19 lakhs (Ex-showroom), the same model with the same engine paired with a 7-DCT transmission costs Rs 17.69 lakhs (Ex-showroom). The HTK+(O) diesel trim of the premium 3-row SUV by Kia, on the other hand, costs Rs 17.29 lakhs (Ex-showroom). The HTK+(O) variant comes loaded with these features, in addition to the previous generation.

Kia Carens Clavis HTX Variant: Price And Features

The HTX trim of the all-new Carens Clavis is available with 2 powertrains and 3 transmission options. It will be offered with the turbo petrol engine paired with the 6-speed manual or a 6iMT transmission, priced at Rs 18.39 lakhs (Ex-showroom) and Rs 18.69 lakhs (Ex-showroom), respectively. It will also be available with the diesel engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, and this model is priced at Rs 19.49 lakhs (Ex-showroom). It is worth noting that the HTX trim will be the last variant that comes with a diesel mill. It will come equipped with the following features in addition to the HTK+(O) variant.

Kia Carens Clavis HTX+ Variant: Price And Features

The HTX+ is the top-spec variant of the Kia Carens Clavis Lineup, and it is available in a 6-seater along a 7-seater layout, and both of these layouts are available with only a turbo-petrol engine on offer. However, customers can opt between a 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT or a 7-speed DCT transmission option as per their requirement. Both of these seating configurations with the turbo petrol 6-speed MT, 6-Speed iMT and 7 DCT models are priced at Rs 19.39 lakhs (Ex-showroom), Rs 19.69 lakhs (Ex-showroom) and Rs 21.49 lakhs (Ex-showroom), respectively.
