2025 Kia Carens Facelift Spotted Testing: South Korean automaker Kia is gearing up to launch the facelift of the Carens MPV in the country. Ahead of the launch, the 2025 Kia Carens facelift has been undergoing extensive testing across the country, with numerous prototypes recently spotted. The Kia Carens facelift has been spotted once again, and the latest spy images provide the clearest look yet at the new styling details of the updated MPV. It is likely that Kia India will be launching the 2025 Carens facelift by early 2025.
2025 Kia Carens Facelift - Design
The new Kia Carens will adopt the latest design language from the South Korean automaker and will incorporate styling elements from Kia's recent models. The front fascia of the MPV will undergo significant changes that will include a new grille design with connected LED DRLs and redesigned headlights integrated into the bumper. Both the front and rear bumpers will feature updated styling for a fresher look. The rear profile will feature a redesigned tailgate and updated LED lights. The side profile will remain largely unchanged, except for the new alloy wheel design.
2025 Kia Carens Facelift - Interior & Features
Moving inside the new Carens facelift, it will see minor updates such as a new steering wheel, an updated dashboard design, and new colour options. It is expected to feature a dual-screen setup similar to the one in the Seltos. The upcoming Carens facelift is likely to be equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) with features like adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist and automatic emergency braking. Additionally, it is expected to come equipped with a 360-degree camera.
2025 Kia Carens Facelift - Engine
In terms of engine specs, the Kia Carens facelift is expected to continue to retain its existing engine options - a 1.5-litre petrol engine, a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. All these three units produce power outputs of 115 bhp, 160bhp and 116 bhp, respectively. Torque figures also vary from 144 Nm, 253 Nm and 250 Nm, respectively. Additionally, it is also likely that Kia might introduce a new electric variant of the Carens MPV in India.
