Kia EV6 Facelift Spotted In South Korea, Expected To Launch In 2024; Check What’s New

South Korean automobile manufacturer Kia launched its flagship EV model, the Kia EV6 in 2021 for all global markets and it was launched for the Indian markets in June 2022. Even though it has only been two years since its global launch, Kia is already in the works to launch the facelift of EV6 in 2024. Kia aims to change the visual look of the EV6 to align it with the looks of its other existing EV models and the upcoming ones as well.

The prototype of the Kia EV6 facelift was recently spotted in a South Korean parking lot but it was heavily camouflaged. However, certain design elements for the upcoming facelift are visible. It is noticeable that the car's body structure will remain unchanged but Kia is paying particular attention to the styling of the front fascia of the EV6 which is expected to be completely revamped in the facelift.  

Kia EV6 Facelift - Design 

The redesigned front-fascia will feature a flatter design to align it with the looks of recent Kia EV models such as the EV4, EV5 and EV9. It's expected to feature a continuous light bar across the width of the car and the headlamp configuration will be changed from a horizontal to a vertical layout. This will bring the Kia EV6 in line with Kia's more recent EV lineup for a consistent visual identity.

In addition to these changes and minor adjustments to the front and rear bumpers, we anticipate that there won't be any significant upgrades to the relatively new EV6's design. There might also be some technological updates but the specifics of these changes currently remain unknown.

Kia EV6 Facelift - Launch 

The global launch of the Kia EV6 facelift is expected to take some time and it's likely that the car will first be revealed in its domestic market of South Korea which is expected to be some time around late 2024. Other international markets can expect to see the launch of the Kia EV6 facelift by the end of 2024 or in early 2025.
