Electric Vehicles (EVs) have taken the automobile industry by storm, given the rising concerns over Climate Change and the alarming impact of petrol and diesel vehicles on the environment. Renowned manufacturers including Volvo, Toyota, Kia, Hyundai and others have shifted their production strategy and are now focusing more on manufacturing electric vehicles, given the enormous rise in their demand globally.

Indian carmakers are also following suit with Tata, Mahindra and now Maruti Suzuki launching their electric cars and offering monetary benefits on their purchases. The Indian government is also encouraging the sale of Electric Vehicles and has also introduced several incentive schemes, including the "Fame India Scheme", to boost EV sales further. In line with the rising demand for EVs, several electric cars have been launched in India in the recent past in different price ranges. Here's a list of affordable premium EVs available in India.
