Kia India is expanding its Carens lineup with the introduction of the Carens X-Line. The Kia Carens X Line will be available in two top-spec variants.The X-Line trim has previously been seen on the Seltos compact SUV and later on the Sonet subcompact SUV and is now being introduced on Kia’s affordable MPV.
Kia Carens X-Line - Design
In terms of appearance, the Carens X-Line will be distinguished with its Xclusive Matte Graphite colour scheme and black glossy grille, Star Map LED DRLs with Crown Jewel LED Headlamps and Star Map LED Tail Lamps. The X-Line will also get new 16-inch dual-tone crystal cut alloys.

Kia Carens X-Line - Interior
Moving inside, the interior will be available with two theme options - Xclusive Two-Tone Black and Splendid Sage Green' theme. The seats, armrests, steering wheel, and gear lever cover will stand out because of the contrasting orange stitching featured in the interiors.
Kia Carens X-Line - Features
Exclusive to the X-Line models is a rear seat entertainment package that will allow buyers to access podcasts, screen mirroring and various entertainment and news apps. Kia mentions that this rear seat screen can also be controlled using a smartphone app. Other notable features include a 26-inch touchscreen, voice-controlled sunroof, premium Bose Sound System with 8 speakers, ambient mood lighting, ventilated front seats, an air purifier, wireless phone charging and cooling cup-holders.
Kia Carens X-Line - Engine
The Carens X-Line will have two engine options - a 1.5-litre (158 bhp) turbo-petrol engine with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and the 1.5-litre (114 bhp) diesel engine a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Kia Carens X-Line - Price
The price for the petrol variant is Rs 18.95 lakh (ex-showroom) and price for the diesel variant is Rs 19.44 lakh (ex-showroom), making it comparatively more expensive than the Luxury Plus variants, with an increase of around Rs 54,000.
