Kia Sonet Facelift Prices To Be Revealed On January 12; All You Need To Know About Compact SUV

South Korean automaker Kia introduced the facelift of its popular compact SUV model, Kia Sonet for the Indian market. Kia India has now announced that it will be revealing prices of the new Sonet facelift on January 12, 2024. Bookings for the Kia Sonet facelift commenced from December 20 by paying a booking fee of Rs 25,000. 

New Kia Sonet - Design 

Talking about the design, it gets styling elements like LED headlamps, LED DRLs, LED fog lamps, C-shaped LED tail lamps that are connected via a LED light bar, sporty aerodynamic skid plates, crystal cut alloy wheels, rear spoiler and a redesigned bumper. It will be offered in eight single-tone, two dual-tone and one matte finish colour scheme. Additionally, Kia has also introduced a new Pewter Olive colour for the 2024 Sonet.

New Kia Sonet - Engine Specs 

Talking about the engine specs, the Sonet facelift is available with three engine options - a 1.2-litre petrol engine, a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. These engines produce a power output of 83 bhp, 120 bhp and 116 bhp respectively. Additionally, they are offered with five transmission options which include the five-speed MT, six-speed MT, six-speed iMT, seven-speed DCT and six-speed AT.

New Kia Sonet - Features 

The 2024 Kia Sonet is equipped with high-end features, including Level 1 ADAS and a suite of 70 connected car features like Find My Car, Hinglish commands, valet mode among others. Additionally, it also gets a BOSE premium speaker system and a dual-screen connected panel featuring a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen. Other notable features include a 360-degree camera with a blind view monitor, a four-way power driver's seat, rear door sunshade curtain, all-door power windows, and a Smartpure air purifier.

New Kia Sonet - Price 

Talking about the prices of the new Kia Sonet, the last gen Sonet is available with prices ranging between Rs 7.79 lakh and Rs 14.89 lakh (ex-showroom). So it is fair to assume that the new Sonet will be reasonably priced above Rs 8 lakh with prices for the top model going up to Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom).
