New Land Rover Defender - Engine
This new diesel engine in the updated Land Rover Defender delivers a power output of 345 bhp, a notable increase of 49 bhp from the previous 3.0-litre turbo diesel straight-six engine. The torque has also been boosted from 649 Nm to 700 Nm, while still being mated with ZF's eight-speed gearbox.
New Land Rover Defender - Interior
The interior of the updated Land Rover Defender focuses on enhancing comfort, especially with the availability of central captain's chairs in the elongated 130 version. This configuration reduces seating capacity from eight to seven, with the middle chairs featuring heating and ventilation for added comfort. Additional interior upgrades include the Signature Interior Pack, which comes standard in the X and V8 Defender trims and is optional for the Dynamic HSE. This pack introduces heated and cooled seats made from a blend of leather and Kvadrat fabric, ensuring comfort across all seating rows. The third row in the 110 and 130 variants also receives heated seats.
