2026 Mahindra Thar Roxx Facelift:  The Mahindra Thar was originally introduced in India in 2010, and it has remained a popular SUV in the country ever since. While the brand launched the Mahindra Thar Roxx in August 2024 and provided a facelift upgrade to the Thar 3-door in September 2025, it is planning to provide some major updates to both of these SUVs in 2026. The test mules of both of these SUVs have been spied recently in the country. Let’s take a look at what can be expected from the 2026 Mahindra Thar Facelift and the 2026 Mahindra Thar Roxx.

2026 Mahindra Thar Facelift

While the overall silhouette of the SUV will remain the same as the current model on sale, it will feature a new front fascia, along with a new rear section. The Mahindra Thar 3-door facelift is expected to feature a new rectangular slat-based grille at the front, along with the new LED projector-based headlamps. The upcoming Thar 3-door facelift is also expected to feature the round LED DRLs, similar to the ones we have seen on the Mahindra Thar ROXX. In terms of mechanics, the 2026 Thar facelift is expected to remain unchanged, whereas it is expected to feature Level 2 ADAS, a larger touchscreen, and ventilated seats in terms of features.

2026 Mahindra Thar Roxx

The 2026 Mahindra Thar Roxx was heavily disguised while testing. While the overall silhouette of the vehicle remains the same, the major change is expected to be in terms of powertrain. As per several media reports, we can expect the 2026 Mahindra Thar Roxx to feature a new 1.5-litre diesel engine. A new variant is expected to increase the choice for customers.
