Mahindra Thar Facelift 2025 Launch: Mahindra has launched the Thar facelift at a starting ex-showroom price of Rs 9.99 lakh. Offered in RWD (rear-wheel drive) and AWD (all-wheel drive) guises, the facelifted version of the Mahindra Thar gets subtle design tweaks, new colour options, and feature upgrades, among other things. The engine options remain the same, though.

Mahindra Thar Facelift Price List

At its price range, the entry-level Thar facelift is around Rs 32,000 less expensive than the outgoing model's base version. Take a close look at the variant-wise pricing of the Thar off-roader:

All prices are ex-showroom. At the top of the line sits the LXT 4WD AT, priced at Rs 16.99 lakh, about Rs 38,000 more than the predecessor's top-spec variant.

Mahindra Thar Facelift Features

Over the outgoing version, the Thar facelift gets a new design for the dashboard and steering wheel. It also adds a sliding centre armrest, a fuel-lid opener button (on the dash), and rear AC vents. Power window switches have been repositioned to the doors from the centre console, while grab handles can be found on the A-pillar. The infotainment system now measures 10.25 inches and features revised graphics. Last but not least, the new Thar also gets USB Type-C charging ports for the rear-seat occupants.

Safety-wise, the new Mahindra Thar adds a rear wiper and washer, along with a new reverse camera. Other bits, including ESP, TPMS, hill hold control, and dual airbags, have been carried over. 

Mahindra Thar Facelift Styling Changes

Styling changes include a silver insert across the front bumper, a body-coloured grille, and two new exterior colours (Tango Red and Battleship Grey). Halogen headlamps, fog lamps, and 18-inch alloy wheels continue.

Mahindra Thar Facelift Engine Options

The Thar facelift also continues with the same engine and gearbox options. It is offered in two diesel engines (1.5-litre and 2.2-litre) and a single 2.0-litre petrol unit. The 1.5-litre diesel variant gets a manual transmission only, while the other two come with both manual and automatic gearboxes.
