Citroen Aircross X Launched In India, Turbo Petrol Variants Start At Rs 11.37 Lakh

Citroen Aircross X Launch Date: Citroen India has expanded its X-series portfolio with the launch of the new Aircross X SUV, which combines a premium design with a segment-first AI-powered digital assistant named 'Cara'. The new Citroen Aircross X is available in 3 variants – You, Plus, and Max, with prices ranging from Rs 8.29 lakh to Rs 13.49 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom). It is the third model to get the 'X' treatment under Citroen India's 2.0 Strategy, following the Basalt X and the C3 X.

Citroen Aircross X Gets 'Cara' Too

The Citroen Aircross X features a Deep Brown interior theme, a 10.25-inch infotainment system, a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster, ventilated leatherette seats, passive entry and push-button start, and diffused ambient lighting and footwell illumination. The leatherette wrapping is also found on the instrument panel and door bolsters. 

Citroen's Cara, an in-car AI-backed conversational assistant, is also offered. According to Citroen, Cara speaks 52 Indian and global languages, controls vehicle essentials and remote functions (tyre pressure, lights, door locks), and provides real-time information such as flight status and weather alerts. Its safety features include emergency assistance, crash alerts, and voice-enabled SOS.

Citroen Aircross X Safety Kit

Speaking of, the Aircross X is built on a high-strength body structure, offering better crash protection. It also gets an auto inside rearview mirror, cruise control, speed limiter, LED projector headlamps, and fog lamps. For added safety, the Aircross X offers a 360-degree camera, 6 airbags, hill hold, ABS with EBD, ESP, and rear parking sensors.

Under the hood, the Aircross X features the same 1.2-litre engine options – 82bhp naturally aspirated and 110bhp turbo petrol. Gearbox options include a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, and 6-speed automatic. The CNG variant is also available as an optional extra.
