Tata Sierra 2025: Tata is gearing up to relaunch one of its most popular nameplates, the Sierra, in India. The Tata Sierra was originally introduced in the country for the first time in 1991, and it was the first-ever off road vehicle manufactured by the brand. The upcoming Tata Sierra was showcased in its near production form at the Bharat Mobility Expo in January 2025, and it has been spotted testing on the Indian roads for quite some time now. The ICE version of the upcoming Tata Sierra was spotted testing yet again recently. Let’s take a look at features, design, and powertrain of the upcoming Tata Sierra ICE.
Tata Sierra 2025: Design
The Sierra is expected to feature a tall and flat front fascia with vertically-placed, squared LED headlights. It is also expected to get a connected LED DRL, and the test mule was spotted with a large air intake with the ADAS panel integrated within. The upcoming Sierra is also expected to feature flush door handles, wraparound taillamps, and the rear bumper will likely integrate the number plate.

Tata Sierra 2025: Features
Tata has been constantly upgrading its new range of vehicles to provide a tech-rich experience inside the cabin. The upcoming Sierra will likely carry forward the same. It is expected to feature a large touchscreen display inside the cabin, a fully digital instrument cluster, a floating-styled central console, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, a 360-degree camera, an auto-dimming IRVM, and an ADAS Level-2 suite.

Tata Sierra 2025: Powertrain
The brand has not yet revealed any information regarding the powertrain of the Sierra. We expect it to be offered with two engine options: either a 1.5-litre turbo petrol or a 2.0-litre multijet diesel engine. While the 1.5-litre TGDI turbo petrol engine produces 170PS and 280 Nm of torque, the 2.0-litre multijet can generate a peak power and torque output of 170 bhp and 350 Nm of torque.
