Mahindra XEV 9S: Mahindra is all set to launch its XEV 9S 7-seater electric SUV on November 27, 2025. The brand recently shared a teaser video of the upcoming Mahindra XEV 9S, and now it has shared a new teaser showcasing the new design details of the 7-seater electric SUV. Let’s take a look at the design, expected features, and powertrain of the upcoming Mahindra XEV 9S 7-seater electric SUV.
Mahindra XEV 9S: Design Details
As shown in the teaser, the XEV 9S will share its overall silhouette with the outgoing Mahindra XEV 9E. However, it looks longer to incorporate third row seats. The teaser video released by the brand also shows some portions of the front fascia of the 7-seater electric SUV. It gets Y-shaped LED DRLs, dual-projector-based LED headlights, and a closed grille at the front. It gets a chrome lining on the side, aero-optimised alloy wheels, and sculpted lines. The upcoming Mahindra XEV 9S also gets a panoramic sunroof. At the rear, it gets a revised bumper with sporty skid plates and connected taillights.

Mahindra XEV 9S: Features
The brand has not yet shared any details regarding the interior of the upcoming Mahindra XEV 9S. However, we expect it to get the same set of features as the outgoing XEV 9E and BE 6, as it is based on the same INGLO platform of the brand. The Mahindra XEV 9S is expected to get a two-spoke steering wheel, a triple screen setup, ventilated and powered seats, a dual-zone climate control system, and more.

Mahindra XEV 9S: Powertrain
The powertrain-related details of the upcoming Mahindra XEV 9S have not been shared yet. However, it is expected to get the same electric setup offered with the XEV 9E and BE 6 SUVs of the brand. As we know, the BE 6 and XEV 9E are available with two: a 59 kWh and a 79 kWh battery pack options on offer. It is also expected to offer a range of claimed range of up to 650 kilometers, once fully charged.
