Mahindra XUV 7XO Features:  The Mahindra XUV 7XO was launched in India on January 5, 2026. The Mahindra XUV 7XO is essentially the facelift model of the brand’s flagship SUV, the Mahindra XUV700. The brand has renamed the SUV as per its new nomenclature strategy. The Mahindra XUV 7XO will rival the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Invicto, Hyundai Alcazar, and Tata Safari. Let’s take a look at the design, features, and powertrain of the recently launched Mahindra XUV 7XO here.

Mahindra XUV 7XO: Design

The Mahindra XUV 7XO gets new dual-barrel-style LED projector headlights, C-shaped LED DRLs with integrated turn signals placed below the headlights. The front fascia of the XUV 7XO also features a new grille with slightly tilted vertical slats, incorporating piano black elements, and smaller air intakes. The fenders include a carved-out element on the front. The redesigned bumper features larger air intakes on the lower lip and includes fog lamps on the sides. On the sides, the SUV features a new set of alloy wheels and a thin black body cladding. The rear section of the SUV bears a striking resemblance to its electric sibling, the XEV 9S.

Mahindra XUV 7XO: Features

The Mahindra XUV 7XO features a 540-degree camera, boss mode, BYOD, Alexa, and ChatGPT integrated voice assist, and connected car features. It also gets Dolby Atmos, a 16-speaker Harmon-Kardon audio system, and a triple screen setup with each screen having a size of 12.3 inches. The Mahindra XUV 7XO also comes with front and rear ventilated seats, a dual zone climate control system, memory-based ORVM, 7 airbags, level 2 ADAS with Sense Plus, and rear retractable sunshades.

Mahindra XUV 7XO: Powertrain

While the Mahindra XUV 7XO has received many major updates in terms of design and features, it remains unchanged in terms of powertrain. The Mahindra XUV 7XO is available in two engine options, including a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engine. Both of these engines can be paired with options of either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. While the petrol engine can generate a peak power and torque output of 200 hp and 380 Nm, respectively, the diesel engine can churn out 182 hp and 450 Nm of torque.

Mahindra XUV 7XO: Deliveries Commence

It is also worth mentioning that the brand has commenced deliveries of some of the variants of the Mahindra XUV 7XO from today onwards. The deliveries for the pre-booked AX7, AX7T, and AX7 L variants of the SUV will begin from today onwards, while the deliveries for the AX, AX3, and AX5 variants will begin from April 2026 onwards.
