Mahindra XUV 7XO Features:  The Mahindra XUV 7XO was recently spied ahead of its official launch on January 5, 2026. The upcoming XUV 7XO is the upgraded version of the brand’s flagship XUV700 SUV, and it follows the new nomenclature strategy of the brand. While the prototypes of the Mahindra XUV 7XO have been spied on several occasions, the brand has also been heavily teasing its upcoming SUV. Let’s take a look at the design, features, and powertrain of the upcoming Mahindra XUV 7XO.

Mahindra XUV 7XO: Features

The recent teasers have confirmed that the upcoming Mahindra XUV 7XO will feature a Harmon Kardon Dolby-Atmos sound system, a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) mount, and a triple-screen setup inside the cabin. It also shares glimpses of the two-spoke premium steering wheel, along with the dual-tone interior theme. The new teaser also shares a glimpse of the ‘Boss-Mode’ feature, which enhances the space for the rear passenger by pushing the co-passenger seat ahead. The Mahindra XUV 7XO is also anticipated to feature an auto-dimming IRVM, powered and ventilated seats, a Level 2 ADAS suite, and more.

Mahindra XUV 7XO: Design

The brand has shared many teasers of the exterior of its upcoming Mahindra XUV 7XO SUV, and the recent prototype suggests that the SUV will get an inverted 7-shaped LED DRL signature with a quad-LED projector headlamp setup, which may look very similar to the recently launched Mahindra XEV 9S. At the rear, it is expected to retain the same LED taillight setup as the XUV700, albeit with a few new design elements.

Mahindra XUV 7XO: Engine Specs

While the upcoming Mahindra XUV 7XO is expected to come equipped with several changes in terms of design and features, it will likely remain unchanged in terms of engine. The XUV 7XO is expected to get the same engine options of either a 2.0-litre turbo petrol or a 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine. Both of these engines can be paired with a choice of a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
