Mahindra and Mahindra, recently launched the XUV3XO sub-compact SUV in the Indian market. Bookings for the Mahindra XUV3XO commenced yesterday and the SUV received a whopping 50,000 bookings within just 60 minutes of opening bookings. This translates to over 833 units booked every second. Deliveries for the XUV3XO are set to begin on May 26 and Mahindra has already manufactured 10,000 units of the XUV3XO, with a monthly production capacity of 9,000 units for this sub-compact SUV. Customers can book the XUV3XO by paying a booking amount of Rs 21,000 either online on the website or through authorised dealerships.
Veejay Nakra, President of the Automotive Division at Mahindra & Mahindra expressed excitement about the overwhelming response to the XUV3XO and highlighted the vehicle's advanced features that make it a strong competitor in the market. He said, “We are immensely proud to announce that the XUV3XO has received 50000 bookings shortly after opening, which is a testament to the trust our customers place in us. Such overwhelming market response reaffirms our commitment to innovation and delivering value beyond expectations. The XUV 3XO is a significant leap towards the future of mobility, designed to deliver 'Everything You Want and More. We are ready to meet this incredible demand and start delivering the XUV3XO to our customers."
The XUV3XO is available in nine variants with prices ranging from Rs 7.49 lakh to Rs 15.49 lakh, (ex-showroom). It competes against models like the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet and Maruti Suzuki Brezza.
This Mahindra XUV3XO is available with three engine options - a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine, a 1.2-litre TGDi turbo-petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. All these engines produce a power output of 110 bhp, 130 bhp and 117 bhp with torque outputs of 200 Nm, 230 Nm and 300 Nm, respectively. All engines come standard with a 6-speed manual gearbox, while the diesel engine also offers a 6-speed AMT. The petrol engines now feature a new 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

To stay ahead in its segment, Mahindra has equipped the XUV 3XO with several segment-first features, including a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree parking camera, dual-zone climate control, steering modes and Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System). It also gets standard features such as dual 10.25-inch displays, cruise control, wireless phone charger and connected car tech.
