Mahindra, a leading automobile manufacturer in India is working on several new additions in its vehicle lineup. Recently, Mahindra trademarked the name XUV7XO, after their new naming strategy introduced with the XUV3XO. The XUV7XO name will similarly be used for the extensively updated Mahindra XUV700 facelift. The XUV700 facelift has been spotted testing alongside the all-electric BE.05.

Mahindra XUV700 Facelift 

The Mahindra XUV7XO will undergo significant updates compared to the current model. The exterior appearance will adopt the latest design language of the brand, featuring a busy front profile with a completely redesigned headlight cluster and DRLs. A new grille design and updated bumpers will also be part of the changes. The side profile will largely remain unchanged but will feature new alloy wheel designs. At the rear, there will be a redesigned tailgate and updated lights.

Inside, the XUV700 facelift will see substantial changes, including a new steering wheel design with an illuminated logo in the centre. There will be minor updates to the dashboard and an array of new features. Notably, the XUV7XO will introduce an all-electric variant, alongside the existing diesel and petrol engine options. The XUV 7XO is expected to debut either later this year or next year.

Mahindra BE.05

The Mahindra BE.05 is set to be an all-electric SUV Coupe, built on the brand-new INGLO platform. Its design is futuristic, with sharp styling cues that give it a sporty appearance. The prototype reveals contemporary design elements like a narrow window line, a prominent tail with sleek LED tail lights, a sporty roof-mounted spoiler and a sharp side profile.

Inside, the Mahindra BE.05 will feature a futuristic interior with a floating dashboard design, a new centre console and a distinctive steering wheel with an illuminated Mahindra logo. While specific details of the electric powertrain are not yet disclosed, it's anticipated to offer a range of around 500 km on a full charge. The BE.05 is expected to launch late next year.
