Tata Altroz Racer Launched: Tata Motors has introduced the new Altroz Racer in India, with prices ranging from Rs 9.49 lakh to Rs 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in three variants - R1, R2 and R3. Prices for the three variants are Rs 9.49 lakh, Rs 10.49 lakh and Rs 10.99 lakh (all ex-showroom). This performance-oriented version of the Altroz comes with sporty design upgrades to enhance its appeal. You can book the Altroz Racer with a token amount of Rs 21,000.

Tata Altroz Racer - Engine
The most significant update on the Tata Altroz Racer is its new 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine, from the Tata Nexon. This engine produces a power output of 118 bhp and 170 Nm of peak torque. It is available exclusively with a 6-speed manual transmission, with no automatic gearbox option. Additionally, Tata claims that the Altroz Racer features a sportier exhaust note compared to the standard variants.
Tata Altroz Racer - Design
In terms of design, the Tata Altroz Racer features several aesthetic upgrades, including a blacked-out bonnet and roof for a dual-tone paint scheme. Twin white stripes run across the bonnet, roof and boot. It also sports a 'Racer' badge on the fender and new alloy wheels for a sportier look. The Altroz Racer comes in three dual-tone colours - Atomic Orange, Avenue White and Pure Grey.
Tata Altroz Racer - Interior & Features
Moving inside the Tata Altroz Racer, the cabin features a blacked-out look with orange accents, black leatherette upholstery, contrast stitching and twin stripes. While the dashboard design remains unchanged, the model includes numerous features such as an electric sunroof, a digital instrument console, ventilated front seats, cruise control, a 360-degree camera and more.

Tata Altroz Racer - Rivals
The Tata Altroz Racer is positioned as a competitor to the Hyundai i20 N Line in the segment. The Hyundai i20 N Line is available in India with its prices ranging between Rs 10 lakh to Rs 12.52 lakh (ex-showroom).
