Toyota Innova Hycross, Crysta Waiting Period: You May Have To Wait For A Year To Get Your New MPV

Toyota Innova Hycross, Crysta Waiting Period: Japanese manufacturer Toyota has established a strong foothold in the Indian automotive market. It retails several popular models in the country such as Fortuner, Innova Hycross, Innova Crysta and more. However, these models are available after a long waiting period, ranging from six months to over a year, depending on the variant. Two of the most in demand models by the manufacturer are Innova Hycross and Innova Crysta. Here’s a detailed look at the wait times for each model.

Toyota Innova Hycross Waiting Period

The Toyota Innova Hycross comes with two engine options - a 173 bhp, 2.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 184 bhp, 2.0-litre strong-hybrid petrol engine. If you order the non-hybrid petrol version in June 2024, you can expect a waiting period of about 6 months. However, the hybrid version has a longer wait time, stretching up to 14 months.

Toyota recently stopped taking bookings for the top-end ZX and ZX (O) variants of the Innova Hycross due to high demand. These bookings were initially halted last April due to supply issues but resumed a year later. The Innova Hycross is priced between Rs 19.77 lakh and Rs 30.98 lakh (ex-showroom).

Toyota Innova Crysta Waiting Period

The Toyota Innova Crysta also has a waiting period of around six months. It is powered by a 150 bhp, 2.4-litre diesel engine that is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Innova Crysta is available in four trim levels and is priced from Rs 19.99 lakh to Rs 26.55 lakh (ex-showroom). While the Innova Crysta doesn’t have direct competitors in its segment, it does face competition from smaller MPVs like the Kia Carens, Mahindra Marazzo, and Maruti XL6.
