Among these launches will be the Mahindra XUV700 Facelift, the first major update to the SUV since its debut in 2021. The premium SUV has been a hit in the Indian market and offers a bucket load of features under Rs 20 lakh bracket, making it a value for money offering for car buyers.
For the first time now, a heavily camouflaged version of the facelifted XUV700 has been spotted testing, undergoing trials in a hilly region. The video of the same has been shared by Tamil Motors 360, a YouTube channel. Here's a look at what all new the SUV is expected to get.

Mahindra XUV700 Facelift: Design
As seen in the spy shots, the overall design remains familiar, with the similar silhouette as the existing model, and some changes, which are visible. The SUV will not get new LED Headlamps, which are circular LED units, replacing the sleek lights of the current model.
Further the C-shaped Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) are gone and replaced by circular headlamps with LED rings, which are likely to serve as DRLs. It also gets a revised Grille with extra slats, sharper Air Dam with slimmer air intake.
The Alloy wheels, taillights, and the side profile are likely unchanged, but we wouldn't know for sure till more clearer images are available. As seen in the pics, two auxiliary lights are visible, but are likely just for testing purposes and won’t make it to the final version.
Mahindra XUV700 Facelift: Features
The Mahindra XUV700 already offers class leading features, but with the launch of new Hyundai Alcazar and Kia Carens Clavis, Mahindra is most likely planning to add more features to the mix. Expect changes like Ventilated front and rear seats, Triple screen layout across the dashboard, upgraded Harman sound system with Dolby Atmos as seen in the New Mahindra Thar Roxx.
Mahindra XUV700 Facelift: Engine
The mechanicals are one area where Mahindra will retain most of the specifications from the current model. The facelifted XUV700 will likely continue with 2.0-litre turbo petrol (mStallion) and 2.2-litre diesel (mHawk) engine options paired with 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearboxes.
