Mahindra XUV.e9 Coupe SUV: Mahindra & Mahindra, a leading automaker in the country is actively foraying into the EV segment of the country. Currently, Mahindra sells only one electric model, the XUV400 SUV in India. Mahindra is gearing up to introduce a range of electric vehicle models such as the Mahindra Thar EV and the XUV700 EV (XUV.e8 SUV) which was recently spotted testing in India. Now, the XUV.e9 SUV has been spotted testing internationally, it is poised to be an electric coupe SUV model that is expected to launch in 2025 in India.

XUV.e9 Coupe SUV - Design
The XUV.e9 coupe SUV has been spotted testing while being heavily camouflaged. However, some specific details of the electric SUV are visible like an enclosed grille, a full-width LED bar, a sloping roofline and flush door handles. Mahindra showcased the XUV.e9 concept this year in August which showcased LED units for both headlights and tail lights and an illuminated LED bar at the back.
XUV.e9 Coupe SUV - Interior
The spotted XUV.e9 SUV is a 5-seater coupe SUV and its interior looks similar to the XUV.e8 SUV. The entire dashboard of the car is covered with three 12.3-inch touchscreen displays from one end to the other. Notable features inside the XUV.e9 coupe SUV include a two-spoke steering wheel, two circular dials for drive modes and the other functions, a gear shift lever on the central console and AC vents with climate control rotary knobs. Additionally, it gets tech features like a heads-up-display, vehicle-to-load charging and Level 2 ADAS.
XUV.e9 Coupe SUV - Powertrain
Previously, Mahindra had announced that the XUV.e9 coupe SUV will share its powertrain specs with the XUV.e8 SUV. It will be equipped with an 80kWh battery pack and two motors that will be placed one on each axle resulting in an AWD drivetrain. These two motors are expected to churn a power output between 230 bhp and 350 bhp. The battery pack is expected to offer a driving range of 450 km.
