Maruti Suzuki Fronx Gets Two New Variants: Maruti Suzuki launched the Fronx SUV in April 2023, which quickly gained attention in the Indian market. Initially, the Maruti Suzuki Fronx was launched in five variants: Sigma, Delta, Delta+, Zeta and Alpha. However, Maruti Suzuki has now added a new variant called Delta Plus (O) to the lineup, specifically for the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated engine.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx New Variants - Price 

Talking about the prices of these new variants, Delta Plus (O) MT is priced at Rs 8.93 lakh (ex-showroom) and the Delta Plus (O) AMT is priced at Rs 9.43 lakh (ex-showroom). The Delta Plus (O) variant offers both manual and automatic options, with both being Rs 15,000 more expensive than the regular Delta Plus.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx New Variants - Enhanced Safety 

Another interesting addition is the inclusion of six airbags and a puncture repair kit, features not found in the standard Delta Plus. Previously, these six airbags were only available from the Zeta variant, which cost around Rs 10.56 lakh. With the introduction of the Delta Plus (O), this safety feature became more affordable by Rs 1.6 lakh.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx New Variants - Features 

In terms of features, the Delta Plus (O) comes with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 4-speaker sound system, automatic AC, and a day/night IRVM. Safety-wise, it includes electronic stability control (ESC), hill hold assist, seatbelt reminder for all seats, 3-point seatbelts for all seats and ISOFIX child seat anchorage.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx New Variants - Engine Specs 

Under the hood, the Delta Plus (O) variant is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces a power output of 90 bhp and 113 Nm torque, mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT transmission.
