Mercedes-Benz has launched the AMG C 43 4 MATIC on Thursday in India. The German automaker has also launched the GLE SUV facelift today for the Indian market. Additionally, the automaker is claiming that the AMG C 43 is the most powerful Mercedes-Benz C Class till date. The C 43 4 MATIC sedan has been launched at an ex-showroom price of Rs 98 lakh and will be sold as a Completely Built-Up Unit (CBU) in India. 

Mercedes AMG C 43 - Design 

Talking about the exterior design of the AMG C 43, it boasts a Panamericana grille that is adorned with AMG’s iconic vertical slats. At the front fascia, the AMG C-Class sedan also gets LED headlights with DRLs and large air intakes. At the rear, the C 43 gets a black finished bumper and quad tailpipes. From the sides, the C 43 gets gloss black wing-mirrors, ‘Turbo-Electrofied’ badges and 18-inch AMG-specific alloy wheels.

The interior of the AMG C 43 boasts AMG-specific elements that include leather-wrapped steering wheel, seats, pedals and seat belts. Other notable features include a 11.9- inch touchscreen display, a 12.3-inch instrument cluster, 15-speaker Burmester system, ambient lighting and wireless charger. 

Mercedes AMG C 43 - Powertrain 

Powering the Mercedes AMG C 43 4 MATIC is a 2.0-litre four cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that is paired to a nine-speed automatic gearbox that sends power to all four-wheels of the car through Mercedes’ 4MATIC drive system. This turbocharged petrol engine is capable of producing a power output of 402 bhp anf 500 Nm of torque. Additionally, the AMG C-Class sedan is equipped with a 48V mild-hybrid system that contributes to an additional 13 bhp. The performance oriented AMG C-Class can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds and can achieve a top speed of 250 km/h.
