MG Astor Facelift Details Leaked Ahead Of Launch: MG India is set to launch the facelifted Astor SUV in the Indian market soon. Ahead of its launch, the exterior and interior design changes of the SUV have been revealed. After its launch, the MG Astor facelift will compete with other mid-size SUVs such as the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Honda Elevate. The updates are poised to make the Astor a more compelling option in this competitive segment.

MG Astor Facelift - Design 

The MG Astor facelift will feature a new colour scheme, sleeker LED headlamps with DRLs, a redesigned grille with a quilted diamond pattern, an aggressive bumper with large air dams, a front camera and a blue accent on the nose. The side profile remains largely unchanged, with blacked-out pillars, roof and ORVMs. Silver accents adorn the skid plate and roof rails, while the redesigned alloy wheels boast a dual-tone finish. At the rear, the Astor facelift sports redesigned LED taillamps, a silver garnish on the bumper, a rear wiper with washer, an extended roof spoiler with a high-mounted stop lamp and a shark fin antenna.

MG Astor Facelift - Interior 

Moving inside the MG Astor facelift, the spy images show an all-black theme with a revamped dashboard featuring a twin-display setup for the infotainment and instrument cluster, along with a steering wheel equipped with controls. The most notable change is the new centre console, which includes a smaller gear selector lever, an electronic parking brake and a wireless charger.

MG Astor Facelift - Powertrain 

Specific details about the powertrain of the MG Astor facelift are not yet available. However, it's expected that the new Astor will continue to retain the same engine options, possibly enhanced with hybrid technology for better fuel efficiency and performance.
