MG MOTOR India, a popular British automaker, has officially begun accepting reservations for the MG Comet EV, which is described as a Smart EV for Urban Mobility. Customers can reserve their MG Comet EV for Rs 11,000 on the official website or at their nearest dealership.
What Is The Price Of MG Comet EV In India?
Starting at a very special introductory price of Rs 7.98 lakh for the Pace variant and Rs 9.28 lakh and Rs. 9.98 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively, for the Play and Plush variants, the Comet EV will be available for Indian buyers. The first 5,000 reservations will be eligible for the introductory price. Beginning in May, the company will start delivering the Comet in phases.
Gaurav Gupta, Deputy Managing Director, MG Motor India, commented on the MG Comet EV booking announcement, saying, "MG Comet EV has been developed with the purpose of catering to the specific needs of Indian urban consumers." With MG's industry-first Track and Trace feature, we hope to put an end to our customers' never-ending quest for information about the status of their car booking. Customers will soon be able to test drive their own MG Comet."
MG Comet EV Deliveries
The firm has also announced that deliveries will begin next month and that consumers will be able to use the 'Track and Trace' function (A Fully Transparent Experience from Booking to Delivery) on the 'MyMG' app to track the status of their automobile bookings.
MG Comet Warranty, Service, And More
The company has introduced an e-Shield which is a completely designed package that covers the service costs, repair costs and includes
1. 3 years or 1 lakh km warranty
2. 3 years of Roadside Assistance (RSA)
3. 3 free labour services- First 3 scheduled services
4. The battery which is offered with an IP67 rating and prismatic cells gets 8 years or 1 lakh 20 thousand Kms warranty.
Further, the company, in a press release also announced that the customers will get an option to choose from 80 carefully designed extended warranty & service packages, starting at just Rs. 5,000. Buyers can also get options like DIY via My MG App, Service on call (Remote Assistance), Service at Home, and even pickup/drop service for those rare occasions when the car needs to be taken to the workshop.
