MG Motor India, a British automobile brand, has launched the MG Comet EV, its second smart all-electric vehicle and the first under 10 lakh EV in India. The versatile GSEV-platform-based PureEV has a minimalist yet spacious design and an inherent ability that allows for stress-free city commuting.
What Are The Dimensions Of MG Comet EV?
Comet EV is the smallest all-electric vehicle, with a length of 1,640 mm and a height of 1505 mm. It also has steel alloy wheels that are 12 inches in diameter.
What Is The Range Of MG Comet EV?
On a single charge, the Comet EV's certified battery range is approximately 230 km. With its practical features like easy driving, easy maneuvering, easy parking, easy charging, and easy on pocket and environment, the range of Comet EV is quite impressive.
MG Comet EV Performance And Specifications
The MG Comet EV comes powered with a 17.3 kWh Li-ion battery and single motor that can churn out a maximum power of 41 hp and a peak torque of 110 Nm.
What Are The Features Of MG Comet EV?
The EV gets a built-in iSmart system with 100+ voice commands and 55+ connected car features. It has a widescreen floating twin display with a 10.25 inch digital cluster and head unit. In addition, the entertainment system has widgets with three pages that can be completely customised, providing users with access to a variety of entertainment and connectivity options.
The smart key is yet another distinctive aspect of the MG Comet EV. The key's attractive and fashionable design contributes to the Comet EV's Tech-Vibe (the company’s tagline).
How Is The MG Comet EV Design?
The MG Comet EV is given a Curved Tech Body line that highlights the exterior of the vehicle's aerodynamics and features inside the cabin. The car has a futuristic floating rear-view mirror design on its sides.
With a 4-seater configuration and 50:50 splits in the second row of seats, the MG Comet EV gets a bit congested interior. The car gets a premium-looking interior with a fancy dashboard.
Is MG Comet EV Safe?
MG Comet EV has a 17.3 kWh Li-ion battery that powers it, and the Prismatic Cells inside have passed 39 battery and auto safety tests for longer cycle life. It has an IP67 rating, making it dust and water-resistant.
The Smart EV also includes numerous top-of-the-segment safety features, including ISOFIX child seats, rear parking cameras, indirect tyre pressure monitoring systems, dual front airbags, ABS, and EBD.
