The brand has already made a place in the electric vehicle market of India, and now it seems that it is planning on strengthening its position in the ICE SUV market as well. The test mule of the MG Hector facelift 2026 was spied testing near the brand’s Vadodara-based plant, and it was partially disguised during the testing. The upcoming MG Hector facelift 2026 will retain its overall design, and it is expected to receive minor changes in terms of design. The MG Hector facelift is expected to feature the same LED lights as the outgoing model, and it is also expected to feature a new grille and new front and rear bumpers.

MG Hector Facelift 2026: Features

In terms of features, the MG Hector facelift 2026 is set to receive some major changes. We expect the upcoming Hector facelift to come equipped with a 14-inch portrait touchscreen-based infotainment system, ventilated and powered front and rear seats, a Level 2 ADAS Suite, and more. The upcoming MG Hector facelift is also expected to get a redesigned dashboard and the addition of more premium materials for upholstery.

MG Hector Facelift 2026: Powertrain

The upcoming MG Hector facelift 2026 is expected to receive several changes in terms of design and features. However, we expect the Hector facelift 2026 to retain its powertrain as the outgoing model. The outgoing Hector is available with multiple powertrain options, including a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine and a 2.0-litre diesel engine. While the petrol engine is available with a choice of manual and automatic transmission options, the diesel engine can be paired with a manual transmission only. The petrol unit can generate peak power and torque output of 141 hp and 250 Nm, respectively, whereas the diesel mill can churn out 168 bhp and 350 Nm of torque.
