New Maruti Suzuki Swift: Maruti Suzuki, one of India’s largest automobile manufacturers is gearing up to introduce the fourth-generation Swift hatchback in India, following its unveiling in Japan. Despite increasing competition and shifting consumer preferences towards SUVs and crossovers, the Swift remains a top-selling car in India. With its advanced features, enhanced performance, and improved safety, the fourth-generation Maruti Suzuki Swift is poised to capture the market and uphold its reputation as a top-selling hatchback in India.

New Maruti Suzuki Swift 

The upcoming model boasts a completely redesigned exterior, enhanced features with advanced technology and a new upgraded engine. Built on the HEARTECT architecture, the new Swift benefits from a lightweight yet rigid platform. Suzuki has thoroughly revamped the underbody structure and component layout, resulting in improved collision safety due to a sturdier frame.

New Maruti Suzuki Swift - Performance  

Under the hood, the fourth-generation Swift is powered by a new three-cylinder petrol engine. This engine is capable of producing a power output of 82 bhp and 112 Nm torque. The vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 12.5 seconds for the manual variant and 11.9 seconds for the CVT model. It also features hybrid technology with a self-charging hybrid system with a 10 Ah lithium-ion battery pack. The 12V mild hybrid system incorporates an integrated starter generator (ISG), serving as both a generator and starter motor. It assists the engine during acceleration and generates electricity through regenerative braking.

New Maruti Suzuki Swift - Features 

For the first time, the Swift comes equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), offering features like lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and blind spot monitoring, among others. Moreover, the new Swift showcases several upgrades both externally and internally, including LED headlamps, keyless entry, wireless smartphone connectivity, and a rearview camera. Suzuki has also focused on reducing noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) levels in the cabin, employing sound and vibration adhesive to minimize transmission of noise and vibration.
