Mercedes-Benz V-Class In India:  Mercedes-Benz has announced the launch of its V-Class ultra-luxury MPV in India on March 3, 2026. The brand will be reviving its V-Class family of luxury MPVs in the country after 4 years, after it was discontinued in 2022. Let’s take a look at what can be expected from the upcoming Mercedes-Benz V-Class luxury MPV in India.

Mercedes-Benz V-Class: Expected Design

The current generation of the V-Class luxury MPV was introduced in 2023, and it retains some upgrades offered with the previous generation model. The V-Class by Mercedes retains the signature chunky grille with the brand’s logo in the centre and dual chrome slats placed horizontally. It gets a big LED projector-based headlamp setup and a sculpted bonnet on the front. All models of the V-Class luxury MPV family feature a 3200mm wheelbase, which extends up to 3430mm with the Extra long version.

Mercedes-Benz V-Class: Interior

The Mercedes-Benz V-Class luxury MPV comes equipped with premium interiors, and it offers top-notch rear seat comfort. Internationally, the MPV is available with a 7-seater, along with a high-end 6-seater Marco-Polo variant. It remains unclear which wheelbase and seating configuration will be launched by the brand in the country. However, we expect the Mercedes-Benz V-Class to come equipped with electrically adjustable seats with ventilation, heating, and massage functions. Inclusion of a massive rear entertainment screen is also much anticipated.

Mercedes-Benz V-Class: Engine

In the international market, the Mercedes-Benz V-Class comes equipped with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine. While the 220d variant of the MPV generates a peak power and torque output of 163 bhp and 380 Nm, the 300d trim is capable of generating 237 hp and 500 Nm of torque.
