F-35 Fighter Jet: Cost And Parking Fees
As previously informed, the F-35 Fighter Jet is one of the world’s most advanced fighter jets, and each F-35 has a cost of approximately $ 110 million (Approximately Rs 941 Crore). F-35 Fighter Jet: Parking Fees Calculation
Typically, parking fees for any aircraft are calculated based on its weight. However, the F-35 fighter jet is a lightweight aircraft, and it is not a scheduled flight. Therefore, the parking fees calculation for the F-35 jet will not be based on its weight. However, if we calculate the fees based on the Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) criteria, it is expected that Thiruvananthpuram International Airport may levy a fee of around Rs 26,000 per day on the F-35 Fighter Jet. Thus, the union government will be required to pay a total parking fee of Rs 3.12 lakhs for the jet.
