Orxa Mantis vs Ultraviolette F77: Orxa Energies just launched their first-ever product, the Orxa Mantis which is an electric bike. The Orxa Mantis is their flagship motorcycle offering and can be booked for Rs 10,000 for the first 1,000 customers and then the following customers can book the Orxa Mantis for Rs 25,000. Orxa has stated that they will deliver the Mantis e-motorcycle in April, 2023. After hitting the Indian roads, the Orxa Mantis will compete directly with Ultraviolette F77 which is a premium electric bike available in India. Let’s take a look at the brief comparison of both the electric motorcycles. 

Orxa Mantis 

Price - The Orxa Mantis electric motorcycle has been priced at Rs 3.60 lakh (ex-showroom). 

Performance - In terms of performance, it is equipped with an 8.9 kWh battery pack and it comes with a 1.3 kW charger. It offers a driving range of 221 km as per the IDC test cycle. The motor equipped in the Mantis generates a power output of 27 bhp and 93 Nm of torque. It boasts a top speed of 135 km/h and can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 8.9 seconds.

Ultraviolette F77

Price - The Ultraviolette F77 is available in three variants - STD, Recon and Space Edition. Prices for these three variants range between Rs 3.80 lakh and Rs 5.60 lakh (ex-showroom). 

Performance - Talking about the performance of the Ultraviolette F77, it is equipped with different battery packs for different variants. The battery pack size ranges between 7.11 kWh to 10.5 kWh. As per IDC test cycle, it offers a driving range between 206 km and 307 km. The motor equipped in the F77 produces a power output between 36 bhp and 40 bhp with 85 Nm to 100 Nm of torque. It can achieve a top speed of 152 km/h and can accelerate from 0-60 km/h in just 2.9 seconds.
