PM Modi in Range Rover Sentinel: Video
From the recently surfaced video, PM Modi can be seen sitting in the front row of the Sentinel, waving at the onlookers as his car convoy passes by. Leading PM's convoy was the Mahindra Scorpio-N, a rugged off-roader featuring a ladder-frame chassis and a 4x4 system with terrain modes.
Driven by a Special Protection Group (SPG) commando, the Range Rover Sentinel SUV is bulletproof and blastproof. Fitted with toughened body panels, windows and windscreens, the SUV can endure a 33-pound explosion, a drone attack, and an AK-47 bullet through almost two inches of glass and polycarbonate. The roof is also fortified, while run-flat tyres with thickened sidewalls enable the driver to escape, even after taking damage. In addition to a public address system, the vehicle also has a siren and emergency lights.
