Aurus Senat And Vladimir Putin
The Aurus Senat is manufactured by the Russian carmaker, Aurus, and it is a luxury limousine used by the Russian President Vladimir Putin. Aurus is part of Cortage, a local Russian program responsible for the development of armoured vehicles. The production of the Aurus Senat began in 2013, and it was adopted by Putin in 2018. In 2024, Putin gifted an Aurus Senat to the North Korean leader, Kim Jong Un.

Aurus Senat: Engine & Features
The Aurus Senat has a very premium and luxurious cabin, and it features high-quality leather material for upholstery and wood trims. The Senat by Aurus also offers a very rich audio experience, and it features a premium sound and infotainment system. The rear seats offer enhanced comfort to the VIPs with features such as massage, heating, and ventilation. The Aurus Senat uses a 4.4-litre V8 engine, which generates 598 hp and 880 Nm of torque. The V8 engine enables it to go from 0-100 in under 9 seconds, and it has a top speed of up to 160 kilometers per hour.

Aurus Senat: Price & Safety
The luxury limousine used by the Russian President has bulletproof glass, grenade-proof body, bulletproof tyres, and a blast-proof underbody. It also gets enhanced safety features such as active cruise control, lane departure warning, and electronic traction control. Aurus manufactures only 120 units of Senat every year, and it is priced at 18 million rubles (around Rs 2.5 crore).
