Renault Kwid Special Edition:  Renault, the French car manufacturer, launched a 10th anniversary edition of its Kwid SUV at Rs 5.15 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. The Renault Kwid recently completed 10 years in the country, and the special edition comes with enhanced safety features, along with cosmetic and interior upgrades.

Renault Kwid 10th Anniversary Edition: Cosmetic Upgrades

The Renault Kwid 10th anniversary edition is based on the mid-spec techno trim, and it will be limited to 500 units only. Similar to the Techno trim, the 10th Anniversary edition of the Kwid also gets a dual-tone paint scheme. The 10th anniversary edition will be offered in two color options- fiery red with black roof and shadow grey with black roof. It also gets new decals on the doors and C-pillar, along with a new yellow accent on the grille and new gloss-black flexi wheels.

Renault Kwid 10th Anniversary Edition: Interior

The yellow accent seen on the grille continues inside the cabin, and the 10th anniversary edition of the Kwid gets yellow accents on the seats, door pads, as well as around the infotainment system. It also gets a leather-wrapped steering wheel, which has a contrasting yellow stitching. The Renault Kwid 10th anniversary edition also gets illuminated scuff plates, puddle lamps, and 10th anniversary edition logos on the headrests of the front seats.

Renault Kwid 10th Anniversary Edition: Safety Features

With the addition of the Renault Kwid 10th anniversary edition, the brand has also revised the classification of the variants of the car. Earlier, the Renault Kwid was available in a total of 4 variants- RXE, RXL, RXT, and the Climber. The Renault Kwid is still available in a total of 4 variants, but now they are called Authentic, Evolution, Techno, and Climber. The brand has also upgraded the top-of-the-line Climber trim with 6 airbags, and all variants of the car now come equipped with three three-point seat belts. The top-spec Climber variant of the Kwid was available with 2 airbags earlier.
